Our mouth contains bacteria .these bacteria degrates sugar particles which were eaten by us i.e remaining food .and releases acids.this may produse tooth decay. so in order to prevent tooth decaytoothpaste is made in basic in nature.basic will netralize the acid and gives salt and water.

<b>TOOTHPASTE OR BASIC IN NATURE BECAUSE-

WHEN WE EAT SOMETHING SOME FOOD GETS STUCK INSIDE OUR MOUTH AND RELEASES \red{ACID}. AND FOR CLEANING THAT MEANS FOR NEUTRALIZATION WE USE TOOTHPASTE (BECAUSE ITS \blue{BASIC} IN NATURE). THE ACID OF OUR MOUTH AND THE BASIC NATURED TOOTHPASTE REACTS WITH EACH OTHER AND GET \purple{NEUTRALIZED.}
