Dear Student,

◆ A drop of concentrated sulphuric acid on a piece of cloth creates a hole in it -

  • Sulphuric acid is strong acid, which makes it react vigorously with substances.
  • Also because of hygroscopic properties, it absorbs large amount of moisture from the air.
  • When a drop of sulphuric acid is put on the cloth, it causes degradation of cloth and creates hole in it.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
