Give reasons why bats and birds both fly but they are kept in different phylums

no both are in same phylum  chordata...but in different class because..“A mammary gland is an exocrine gland in mammals that produces milk to feed young offspring that's why bats come from mammalia class and birds has no mammary glands so they come in class aves .
