Continuous resources are type of renewable resources. This includes resources like water, wind, solar energy, etc. Those resources which are found in a particular region but are not utilised due to lack of capital or basic amenities or any other reason are known as potential resources. Thus, a particular region might contain continuous resources like wind or water but are not used due to under development. So, if those regions are developed properly then the potential resources could serve as great continuous resources. For example, Rajasthan and Gujarat, which are part of the western India, have enormous potential for solar and wind energy but are not yet properly developed.
