Give reasons why copper is used to make hot water tanks and not steel ( an alloy of iron )

this is because the Steel is more reactive than the copper also it react with hot steam to produce ferrosoferric oxide due to which the body of tanker will become weaker and weaker .while copper does not react with hot water
