Give reasons why Dalits are not considered as equal, even if law states they are.

=>This is because India followed a ridgid caste system since ancient times in which shudra was the lowest caste. The system was so rigid that they were considered untouchables amd lived in inhuman conditions amd did the most unrespectable jobs. India seems to have not completely given away with the caste system.
