Give reasons why silver cannot dis place magnesium from its salt solutions

Silver is less reactive that magnesium and that is why it cannot displace magnesium from its salt solution

it does not do so because the magnesium is greater reducing agent then silver . the E° value of mg is in negative which make it easily oxidised
