Actually Welcome to the Concept of the Conjugation and stability of aromatics.

Now basically here, if we see, the aromatic compounds are always stable than other organic compounds due to their Continuous Conjugation.

Now Conjugation is the Delocalisation if charged to distribute them in the whole compound.

There are many conjugation like,

1.) Double bond - single bond - lone pair

2.) Double bond - single bond - election

3.) Double bond - single bond - positive charge

so here in the (I) compound we can easily see the continuous pattern of double bond - single bond pattern so it in conjugation and more stable than (ii) compound.
