Review of autotrophic nutrition in Amoeba and human beings:

  • The amoeba and human being have different variation in food absorption. The amoeba engulfs the food through the process of endocytosis.
  • The human beings are heterotrophs in nature, and also they are omnivores in nature. They cannot prepare food by their own, and hence they dependent on others for food.
  • Amoeba does not have the site for digestion, the human beings have the digestive system. The 'amoeba' and 'human beings' are heterotrophs. Some of the amoeba can prepare own food but rest are heterotrophs.
