1} In August 2002, General Pervez Musharraf issued a 'Legal Framework Order' to amend the constitution of Pakistan. According to this order, the President could dismiss the national or provincial assemblies. Thus, he empowered himself by issuing the 'Legal Framework Order'. Dec 27, 2019.
2} Pakistan cannot be called a democracy in the true sense because it does not provide the decision making power to the elected representatives. There is still the influence of military power over the political decisions.
