wheat wheat is Rabi/ winter season crop which is sown in the beginning of winter (October to November) basic climatic requirement for wheat crop are moderate temperature condition, no water logging and frost free days. it required water supply during flowering and before tilling only. if wheat is sown during kharif season (summers) , months of higher temperature ( May- June) and excessive water supply during rainy season adversely affect the crop productivity.
