Give scientific reason.

1.Animals in the mountain region have thick fur on their body.

2.Though the moon gives light, it is not considered as a source of light.​

1.Therefore animals in the mountains are adapted to live in extremely cold weather. Their body is covered with thick fur to protect them from the cold. They also have a thick layer of fat under the skin for insulation and protection from cold.

2.Simply put, the Moon cannot be a source of light because it has no way of producing light. The Sun (and the other stars) shines (produces light) by way of the nuclear reactions which occur within it. The Moon is visible only because it reflects the light produced by the Sun.
