The answer is much more complicated but to understand in a simple way the smokers lungs are filled with the residue of tobbaco while smoking.so this stops the Alveoli to give a continious flow of oxygen to our lungs as per this you may get problems like asthama and other breathing related issues and even cardiac related issues even by this it raises the Blood pressure in our body and causes hypertension high BP etc.even there is another way that is,when carcinogens which are responsible for attaining cancer and also it stores in form of plaque in the lungs and might cause harm to lungs and your heart also so this are the main reasons two main reasons for causing hypertension by smoking.
