Hey mate, hope it helps you....

Geographical isolation and reproductive isolation leads to speciation, is an agreeable statement. When geographical barriers like a valley or a mountain comes between two populations, their genetic composition varies from generation to generation, so called Geographical Isolation. When these organisms are mated, they cannot breed because gradually, they tend to change genetically and develll different characteristics, so called reproductive isolation. Hence, it can be said that these factors promote Speciation, i.e., the evolution of newer organisms from the pre-existing parental organisms with similar characteristics.
