Answer:

1)Pressure is the amount of force applied perpendicular to the surface of an object per unit area and the for it is p (or P). The SI unit for pressure is the pascal (Pa), equal to one newton per square metre (N/m2, or kg·m−1·s−2). Pascal is a so-called coherent derived unit in the SI with a special name and symbol.

2)As such, pressure depends on the amount of gas (in number of molecules), its temperature, and the volume of the container.

Force, Pressure and Its Applications:

Pressure is the force per unit area. The SI Unit of Pressure is the pascal (Pa). A pascal can be defined as a force of one newton applied over a surface area of one meter square.

3)The one foot offers the smaller area that produce larger pressure on the surface. The two feet will provide the larger area to balance the weight of the entire body on the ground while creating a smaller pressure on the surface in contact. The two feet are necessary to allow the person to stand and walk.
