1) Treat ethene and ethyne both with sodium acetylides. Alkene when treated with sodium acetylide give no reaction. When ethyne is treated with sodium acetylid it gives acetylide.
2. Chloroethane is an aliphatic compound whereas chlorobenzene is an aromatic compound in which chlorine is directly attached to the benzene ring. Due to this, there will be resonance in the chlorobenzene which makes the carbon-chlorine bond stronger than a single bond.
