-We need a constitution because we need a government to protect our natural rights to life, liberty, and property.

-We need protection from bad people such as murderers, oppressors, dictators, corrupt people, thieves, robbers, burglars, fraudsters, etc.
-Without a constitution we would be confronted with the situation where the powerful and wealthy rule over everyone else, based solely on their possessions.
-Constitutions, as their name suggest, are very useful when one is starting a brand new form of government for the political entity, because it lays out how the new government is constituted, and what its powers are (or aren’t).
- We need a constitution. The constitution provides a set of written rules that is authorized, and approved by the people.
-Without a constitution, our society would not exist in any thing resembling civilization.
