Oscar wilde (1854-1900) was an Irish poet, fiction writer and essayist. He is considered as a central figure in aesthetic writting and a master story writer. He was a staunch advocate of the Art for Art's sake. His major plays include A woman of No importance, An ideal husband and the importance of Being Earnest and the novel The picture of Dorian Gray.
