Examples of inaudible sounds include: 
1) Infrasound - these are sounds that have wave frequencies that are below the normal lower human hearing limit - which is below 20Hz. Examples include communication sounds made b whales, elephants, giraffes and rhinos.
2)Ultrasounds - these are sounds that are made from sound waves  that are above the upper audible limit of human beings - which is at 20KHz. Examples of this sound include sounds made by a dog whistle and sounds made by bats.

Audible range of normal human being is 20Hz to 20,000 Hz.
Sound frequencies less than 20HZ are called as Infrasonics which humans cannot hear for eg:Infrasonics sound waves in nature include earthquake, natural diaster.
