Hi Shruti!
Simple guidelines for an attractive History Project:
1. Choose a Topic you Love:
You must LOVE the Topic. It can be anything but if it is not what you love then you are very unlikely to Complete it. At least you have some INTEREST on it.
Why? That would mean you have some idea about the topic. You are not only familiar with the topic but also have a grasp for it. Do you remember the time when the teacher asked you a question in History, etc and you raised your hand? And you successfully gave the answer?
How did that made you feel? Pretty awesome, na?
Why was that so?
It was because you could meet the Question with the Answer, you meet the Challenge with the Capacity, you meet the Problem with the Solution, in a situation where it was relevant.
The same you Can do with your History project. Find a Topic or just listen to your GUT. A topic which makes you come ALIVE. Make sense?
2. Seek HELP:
Don't be a LONELY GENIUS. Even Geniuses don't succeed ALONE- don't be afraid to take Help- a teacher, a friendly friend, a friendly good mood enemy, mommy, ANYONEE!
3. PLAN & SCHEDULE:
Yes! very important. Have an estimate of the DEADLINE- know a few steps of completion or just a sketch of the PATH.
BLOCK the TIME for the PROJECT, don't go for TV or anything in that Time. Chances are you will Complete it
4. ENJOY the PROCESS:
As with any journey, it is the process and not the Result which counts.
And often when one ENJOY the PROCESS , one gets the DESIRED RESULT.
Hope it make sense and helps you!
