Try making a sequence short list..
For example I learn the reactivity series top to bottom by the list:

S
C
M
A
Z
I
L
(H)
C
M
S
G
Where p is potassium, s is sodium
C is calcium and so on...
Or else u can follow a story.....
Like...
once there was a hydrogen balloon. It was filled with helium.. It was light weight(lithium). It flew out of my hand and got stuck in a Berry bush(beryllium).i took a bore bar and took it out(boron).i then took it to my car. (carbon). By that time it was night (Nitrogen). The balloon was so tired it ran out of air. I fitted a oxygen mask on it(oxygen)..............
