* excess friction means that extra fuel must be used to power the vehicle. In other words, fuel or energy is being wasted because of the friction.

*if you build up to much friction such as from dragging your shoes across the groun, you will most likely trip and fall.

*if you go down the slide to fast it creates a mass amounot of friction which could cause some skin to break(if you’re wearing shorts), or some material from thin pants/ leggings which was in contact with the slide.
