Answer:

Explanation:Maybe on one level they are. Each level of life on the earth—inanimate, vegetative, animate, and human—is more complex and possesses more qualities than the one(s) before it. Man has a trait that exists nowhere else in nature—ego. We also have the ability to remember the past and plan for the future.

When an animal harms another animal or plant life, it is for survival only. There is no judgment here, just the way things are. Humans, on the other hand, due to the force of ego, give ourselves permission to exploit others to fulfill our own desires, kill animals for trophies, choose war over negotiation to settle differences, rape the earth in the service of wealth and power, basically to create harm whenever we want to.

The wisdom of Kabbalah teaches that we still function out of our animalistic natures and will not advance until we realign with the qualities of nature—interconnection, altruism, interdependence. We have shattered the template that nature gave us and we will not truly be human until we restore it.
