· Diversifying agriculture: Farmers in India usually grow only one type of crop. They should try mixed cropping or other agricultural techniques to grow different types of crops simultaneously. They can also practice horticulture, pisciculture, apiculture, etc. along with farming. This will help employ more people.

· Basic facilities: Government should provide basic infrastructure in agriculture related facilities such as transportation (building of roads), irrigation, banking to ease the work of farmers. Subsidies can be provided. Dams and storages' can be built.
