Answer:

18,375

Explanation:

Given :

  • 10 fans are there where each fan consumes 100 watt and it runs 10hr a day

  • 15 tube lights are there where each tube light consumes 50 watt and it runs 10hr a day

  • 1 AC is there which consumes 7000 watts and runs 10 hrs a day

  • Each unit costs rs. 7

To find :

  • Electricity bill

Energy consumed by fans = 10×100×10

Energy consumed by fan = 10 Kwh per day

Energy consumed by fan per month = 10×30 = 300 kwh

Energy consumed by tube lights = 15×50×10 = 7500 watt hours = 7.5 kwh

Energy consumed by tube lights in a month = 7.5×30 = 225 Kwh

Energy consumed by A.c = 7000×10 = 70,000 Wh = 70 Kwh

Energy consumed by A.c per month = 70×30 = 2100 Kwh

Total energy consumed = 2100+225+300 = 2625 units

Cost = 2625×7

Cost = 18,375 rupees

The cost is rupees 18,375

Explanation:

18,375

10fans =10000wh =10kwh

15t.l= 15*50=750*10=7500wh=7500/1000=7.5kwh

1AC =7000*10=70000wh=70kwh

Energy Consumed by electrical appliances in a month (30days) =10*30=300kwh

=7.5*30=225kwh

=70*30=2100kwh

cost of electronic appliances in(30days)=7*2100=rs14700

=225*7=rs1575

=300*7=rs 2100

total cost =rs (14700+2100+1575)=18375.

Glad I could help you.

Thanks.
