Give the answer of following questions not more than 50 words.

1. A student fixes a sheet of white paper on a drawing board. He place a bar magnet at the centre of it. He sprinkles

some iron fillings uniformly around the bar magnet. Then he taps the board gently and observes that the iron

fillings arrange themselves in a particular pattern. (5)

a. Why do the Iron fillings arrange themselves in a particular pattern?

b. What is indicated by the crowding of iron fillings at the end of the magnet?

c. What do the lines along which the iron fillings align represent?

d. Draw a neat diagram to show the magnetic field lines around a bar magnet.

e. Write any two properties of magnetic field lines.​

a. it forms a particular pattern because of the magnetic field around the magnet.

b. charges from positive to negative and from negative to positive are being indicated.

c. that from outside the charges goes negative to positive and from inside the bar magnet the charge goes positive to negative.

d. that you can do by your self now because I think till now you understood...

e. 1. field line can not cross each other.....

2. field lines are countinuous loops....
