A+B ---> C is a combination reaction because in this two materials are combinig to form a new substance.

2.
A + BC ----> AC + B is a single displacement reaction because the element which is high reactive displaces the element which is less reactive.

Hmmmmmm ,
As far as I can tell :)
i) A + B ---> C , This is a "Addition reaction" as two distinct elements or compounds are reacting to make up a "New Product".

ii) A + BC ---> , This is basically a "Displacement reaction" and here "A" is more reactive than "B" . So it is displacing B from it's compound.
