Answer:

  1. When a plant is kept in a dark room, the leaves does not get sunlight and therefore they turn yellow.
  2. The insectivorous plants grow in soil which do not contain sufficient nitrogen mineral. These plants (e.g. pitcher plant) are green and carry out photosynthesis to obtain a part of the food required by them. ... So, insectivorous or carnivorous plants feed on insects to obtain the nitrogen needed for their growth.
  3. Because the rhizobium bacteria present in the roots of the leguminous plants converts the atmospheric nitrogen into a soluble nitrogeneous compound and thus restores the nitrogen content of the soil.

Hope it helps

1)When the leaves are kept in dark it will become yellow.

The reason is that the chlorophyll pigment will be rich and enriched only when it is shown towards the sun light but while placing it in dark the chlorophyll of the plant starts degrading and the pigment will slowly begin to eradicate.

2)The plant can't make protein without nitrates. Nitrates are found in fertile soil. ... Insectivorous plants feed on insects for the fulfillment of their nitrogenous requirement, because they grow on nitrogen deficient soil.

3)

Because the rhizobium bacteria present in the roots of the leguminous plants converts the atmospheric nitrogen into a soluble nitrogeneous compound and thus restores the nitrogen content of the soil.
