1)Tropical rainforests support a greater number and variety of animals than any other biome. One of the reasons for this great variety of animals is the constant warmth. Tropical rainforests also provide a nearly constant supply of water and a wide variety of food for the animals. Small animals, including monkeys, birds, snakes, rodents, frogs, and lizards are common in the tropical rainforest. Many of these animals and a multitude of insects never set foot on the ground. The animals use the tall trees and understory for shelter, hiding places from their predators, and a source of food.

Animal adaptation
Because there are so many animals competing for food, many animals have adapted by learning to eat a particular food eaten by no other animal. Toucans have adapted by developing long, large bill. This adaptation allows this bird to reach fruit on branches that are too small to support the bird's weight. The bill also is used to cut the fruit from the tree.

The sloth uses a behavioral adaptation and camouflage to survive in the rainforest. It moves very, very slowly and spends most of its time hanging upside down from trees. Blue- green algae grows on its fur giving the sloth a greenish color and making it more difficult for predators to spot.

2)There is no single or fixed relationship. The climate is part of all species environments (except, perhaps, some ocean species). Evolution is change in organisms over time. Adaptation is merely the fact that organisms that are here today are descendants of successful— ’adapted’—ancestors. They were able to deal with their local conditions (food sources, available mates, predators, environment, and whatever). That includes climate. Climate may have to do directly with survival (surviving heat or cold or aridity), and with the presence of food or predators, etc.

3)Answer . If in the mid-latitudes, storms are usually associated with low pressure systems. Cold fronts associated with a low pressure system cause the cold air mass to move into a column of warmer air, creating an unstable atmosphere. This is where storms are created. You may know of a squall line (organized line of thunderstorms, which can be ahead of a fast-moving cold front), this creates severe thunderstorms that only last for at most 2 hours. To get back to the question, once the cold front passes, weather after the storms will be calm. Cooler air temperature and a lowered dew point, also going to have a shift in winds from SE winds to NW winds most likely. Now, if you are in the tropics (ITCZ), you could have thunderstorms all day and night. There is no jet stream support in the tropics, so the storms move slower and in the opposite direction of the westerlies. This is also where typhoons and hurricanes form. Hope this helps out a little bit, have a good one.

4)Yes; humidity exists as individual water molecules dispersed among air molecules, so it does not crystallize when air drops below 0 °C. However, the amount of humidity it can hold becomes quite small. The psychrometric chart below shows that the humidity capacity of air at 0 °C is about 1/10th the capacity at 35 °C. (You would refer to the curved red 100% RH line to see where it intersects the right axis at each temperature).

5)Animals have different ways of adapting to the different seasons. Some animals hibernate, sleeping all winter long. Animals that hibernate are bears, deer, and even ladybugs!! Other animals migrate they travel to search for food and warmer weather. Some animals that migrate in the winter are birds, sea turtles, and monarch butterflies. Many animals stay in the same area and get used to the different weather. Some animals that adapt to the weather are dogs and cats. People adapt to the weather by putting on jackets and coats!
