(a) CH3- CH2- BR  

-:   It contains two v=carbon atoms and 5 hydrogen atoms with BR as alkyl halides.

so its IUPAC name is BROMOETHANE.

(b) CH3-CH=CH3

-:   SIMILARLY 3 carbon atoms so prop and double bond so ene .

so;  prop-1-ene.

(c) CH3CH2COCH3

-:  C3H8; IT IS IN THE FORM OF CnH2n+2 so is formed of single bond.

    so; propane.

(d)  CH3COOH

-:   COOH asa functional group of acid with suffix as oic.

     so; ethanoic acid.
