Most animals are ill-treated because people think that they are a mans slave. another reason is because people try to be 'the leader of the pack' by punishing their dog if they don't do something right. Some people hit or kick their pets, and others bite. when they do this to their pet then the pet turns vicious and the owner just keeps abusing it. Secondly, people just leave their animal, not caring what-so-ever. They think that if they go to work for 12 hours of the day and come back that their pet will be fine. The most serious abuse is silent abuse, especially with dogs, because they have to be let out and if you leave for work then they have nowhere else to 'go' but your floor. When they go on your floor then you will most likely punish them for doing something that you made them do.
