Sir,
I am a resident of Hazratganj, Lucknow and I support keeping pets. But the idea seems good till they don't become a nuisance for others.
My neighbourhood has different pets like parrot, birds and dogs. They are very noisy as they start shouting in the morning. Even the dog barks at late nights too.
Elderly people at home face problem due to this behaviour. Heart patients from sudden animal howlings feel anxiety.
Keeping pets is a great act towards well being of animals but one should keep in mind the issues which can be faced by others. Through this letter, it's my request to bring this important issue to the public's notice.
