As per the question,

No. of women able to work in 18 days = 48

Let us solve the sum by using equivalence method

So,

No. of women able to work in 24 days will be

 \frac{48}{24}  \times 18

 \frac{864}{24}

36

Hence,

36 women would be requested to do the same work in 24 days.
