Firstly , supplementary angles are the angles whose sum is 180 degrees.

let the supplementary angle mentioned in the question be x and the other angle be y.

GIVEN

y = x _ 80 degrees

we know that x+ y is 180 degrees ( coz supplementary angles sum is 180 degrees)

so x=180_y

substituting this in first equation and calculating we get

y = 100 degrees

so the angle is 100 degrees
