Explanation:

Amar Singh was a Rajput nobleman and served the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as his courtier.

He was lauded for his legendary bravery and battle skills.  

Shah Jahan was impressed with his bravery and made him a governor of a region. But later, he levied a fine on him for unauthorized absence. Amar Singh killed the guy who was sent to collect the fine, Salabat Khan, in Shah Jahan's presence. This enraged the Mughal ruler who declared a prize for his head. Amar Singh was killed by his own brother due to treachery.
