Stainless steel is a combination of iron, chromium and nickel

properties-

Higher corrosion resistance.Higher cryogenic toughness.Higher work hardening rate.Higher hot strength.Higher ductility.Higher strength and hardness.A more attractive appearance.Lower maintenance.

Uses-

Architecture and construction

Automotive and transportation

Energy and heavy industries

Food and catering

DURALUMIN

It is an alloy made up of 90% aluminum,4% copper, 1% magnesium and 0.5% to 1% manganese.

PROP.

Before a final heat treatment the alloy is ductile and malleable; after heat treatment a reaction between the aluminum and magnesium produces increased hardness and tensile strength. Because of its lightness and other desirable physical properties, duralumin is widely used in the aircraft industry.

USES

 widely used in aircraft construction.
