Answer:

a)A= Sodium (Na)Group 1, B =Neon(Ne) Group 18, C=Oxygen (O) Group 16 and least reactive element is Neon

b)Na shows more metallic nature than Oxygen

Explanation:

a) Sodium(A) is present in first group as in its last shell only one electron is present which is the characteristics of Group 1 alkali metals , Neon(B) is present in Group 18 of noble gases as the last shell is completely filled with completing the octet rule , Oxygen (C) it has 6 electrons in last shell and is present in Oxygen Family or Group 16 and Noble gases are the most unreactive elements in the periodic table as all they have full filled the octet rule with 8 electron in outermost shell.

b) Sodium is more metallic as it has tendency to lose one electron while Oxygen has tendency to accept 2 electron and attained the configuration of noble gas and become stable .
