\sf\huge\bold{Solution}

we have given the Equation 2x²-5x+(k+3)=0

The above Equation is in the form of a quadratic equation e.g,ax²+bx+c.

a=2 ,b=-5 and c=(k+3)

-4ac

=>(-5)²-4×2×(k+3)

=>25-8(k+3)

∴Roots are equal

Learn how roots are equal=>

Roots are equal when it's discriminant is zero.

We have formula D=b²-4ac

Now,25-8(k+3)=0

=>25-8k-24=0

=>-8k=24-25=-1

=>k=1/8

Now put into 25-8(k+3)

=>25-8k-24=0

=>25-8×1/8-24

=>25-1-24=25-25=0

Here,its discriminant is zero so ,roots are equal.
