The definition of education by these great personalities -

* PESTALOZZI According to the pestalozzi education is method in a whole child approach that emphasize the development of all aspects of a person , including the head , heart , and hands.

* REDDEN In the words of Redden (1968) "Education is the deliberate, systematic influence, exerted by a matured person upon the immature through instruction, discipline and harmonious development of physical, intellectual, aesthetic, social and spiritual power of the human being according to individual and social needs".

* M. K. GANDHI Education system proposed by Mahatma Gandhi is called as "Basic Education". He mainly aims at the education in mother tongue and asked for activity centered education to make the children skilled and independent.

* DR . ZAKIR HUSSAIN “Education is the process of the individual mind, getting to its full possible development.”
