Explanation:

according to the first law of motion if there is no force there is no change in state of rest or of uniform motion

in other words we can say if a force is applied it will change the state of rest or of uniform motion

if the force is not sufficient it may not produce a change but only try to do so

force is that which changes or tries to change the state of rest or of uniform motion of a body in a straight line

★ First Law of Motion is also known as Law of Inertia.

★ Newton states that an object at rest will stay at rest and an object in motion will stay in motion with the same speed and direction unless acted upon by unbalanced force.
