Zygote is the first cell through which the whole animal body will develop
The stage after embryonic and before birth is called foetus

Zygote is a eukaryotic cell formed by the fusion of two gametes . Its is formed just after the fertilisation.
After the formation of zygote development process goes on and after nine weeks, the some extended developed zygote is referred to as foetus.
