here is your answer ⤵️⤵️

Difference b/w mitosis and meiosis

MITOSIS

➡️ it occurs in both hapliod and diploid cells.

➡️ it occurs in somatic cells.

➡️ Nucleus divides once

➡️ Daughter cells are indentical.

➡️ Two daughter cells are formed .

➡️ prophase is simple

➡️ Both chiasmata and crossing over are absent.

➡️ The chromosome number of daughter nuclei is unchanged.

MEIOSIS

➡️ it occurs only in diploid cells.

➡️ It occurs in the reproductive cells.

➡️ nuclues is twice.

➡️ Daughter cells are identical.

➡️ Four daughter cells are formed.

➡️ Prophase is complicated.

➡️ Botg chiasmata and crossing over occur b/w non sister chromatids.

➡️ The chromosome number of daughter nuclei is reduced to half.

hope my answer helps you ✌

heya....

Here is your answer....

Mitosis:

Mitosis produces diploid cells.

It produces identical daughter cells.

Mitosis is a process of asexual reproduction in which the cell divides in two producing a replica, with an equal number of chromosomes in each resulting diploid cell.

Meiosis:

Meiosis produces haploid cells.

It produces unidentical daughter cells.

Meiosis is a type of cellular reproduction in which the number of chromosomes are reduced by half through the separation of homologous chromosomes, producing two haploid cells.
