Bryophyta

BRYOPHYTA
1. Plant body is gametophytic.
2.plant body is either thallose and / or follise.However,real stem and leaves are always absent.
3. Fixation of plant body is carried out by rhizoids.
4. Sporophyte is parasitic over the gametophytic plant body throughout its life.
Bryophytes are non-vascular in nature.
5. Ex- Moss ,Marchantia, etc.

THALLOPHYTA
1.Plants do not have well differentiated body design.
2. These plants are predominantly aquatic.
3 some ex--- Ulothrix, Cladophora, Chara, etc.
