✨The molecules in solid substances are tightly packed with each other.So,you will never see the molecules of any solid to move! In fact solid substances show change the least when heated.Example-Rock,Stone, furniture.etc.

✨Now giving you information about Liquid.The molecules in Liquid are loosely packed.So,they can move away from each other.Liquid changes to its gaseous state when heated.Example-Water,milk,juice.etc.

✨Now Gaseous form.The molecules in the Gaseous substances are are far away from each other.So,they can move away from each other quite easily.Gaseous substances expand when Example-Oxygen,Hydrogen, Nitrogen.etc.
