give the differences between glacios and river.Which glacier in uttrakhand give rises to a popular river.....I will definatly mark as brainliest if the answer is wothy

1. Large ice sheets present in mountains are termed as glaciers whereas rivers originate from melting glaciers.
2. Glaciers lie in the same place for there entire time whereas river start from glaciers and end in ocean.
3. glaciers are in solid phase whereas river in liquid phase, generally.
From Uttrakhand river Ganga and Yamuna originate from Gangotri and yamunotri glaciers respectively.
