Plant cells have a cell wall composed of thecell membrane as well as cellulose. Animal cells do not have a cell wall composed of acell membrane. A plant cell is enclosed by a hard/rigid cell wall along with the plasma membrane. The animal cell is enclosed by a thin, flexible plasma membrane.
