Increase of surface area :

Evaporation increases when the surface area is increased because the liquid molecules get a larger place to escape out.

Increase of temperature:

temperature is one of the most important fa for in evaporation. increased temperature results in growth of kinetic energy of the molecules. and they convert into vapour.

Increased speed of wind:

This is also an important factor resulting in evaporation. The water vapour pressure flies way with the wind and the we lovingly call it evaporation happening!

What you need to know?

  • Evaporation is the conversion of liquid into gas.

  • APART From these evaporation also depend on the rate of humid air present in the environment.
