Give the evidence that the birds have evolved from reptiles.

The fossil of bird called archaeopteryx looks like a bird but has many features of reptiles also. Archeopteryx has wings like that of birds, teeth and tail like those of reptiles. archeopteryx is therefore a connecting link between reptiles and birds and suggest that birds have evolved from reptiles. The possibility can be that the fossils of birds were at the top, the fossil of archeopteryx was below it, and that of reptiles was below the fossil of archeopteryx .
