"     Cyanobacteria is also termed as ""blue green algae"". They are the only photosynthetic heterotrophs that can produce food on their own which results in production of oxygen.

   Their major function is to store nitrogen which they do in the ""form of cells"" called the heterocyst. This nitrogen storage helps in plant growth. The major prats of this bacteria is chloroplasts, leucoplasts, and etioplasts."
