Answer:

Teachers' Day is celebrated to honour our teachers. It is celebrated 5th of September in commemoration of the birth anniversary of Dr Radhakrishnan, who was an outstanding scholar and teacher.

Teaching is a noble profession. It is a self-sacrificing profession because the works of teachers are difficult but they are paid less. Teachers work the entire day and neglect almost everything else in their lives. Their main desire is to make their students achieve something in their life and reach great heights. They are the force behind the future generation of nation builders and ideal citizens.

By their efforts students are motivated to study in the right and appropriate manner. They are concerned with the good and the success of their students.

Teachers are happiest when they see their students excel and achieve success in life. When their students do well in life they feel that all their hard work had finally been rewarded.

Teachers develop the destiny of the entire future generation through their ideas and knowledge. Their work is not limited to text books. They impart discipline, good manners, and moral values to the students. Students will pass out from schools and colleges. They will grow up and go away to different places. They will be engaged in different careers. But no matter where they are or what they are doing, they will remember their teachers as long as they live.
